Down, Down

Down, Down!
Yellow and brown
The Leaves are falling over town

Little Leaves

One little leaf. Two little leaves
Three little leaves today.
Four little leaves. Five little leaves.
Five Little Leaves

Five little leaves so bright and gay (hold 5 fingers)
Were dancing about on a tree one day (flutter fingers
The wind came blowing through town (wind sounds)
One little leaf came tumbling down (remove 1 leaf)
Four little leaves so bright and gay.

Repeat until there are zero little leaves

Fall Fun
[tune: "The Farmer In The Dell"]

The leaves are falling down. The leaves are falling down.
Red and brown, they flutter down.
The leaves are falling down.

The squirrels hide their nuts. The squirrels hide their nuts.
They hide them away for a winter day.
The squirrels hide their nuts.

The children go to school. The children go to school
They learn and play throughout the day.
The children go to school.
Fall Is Here
- Helen H. Moore

Fall is Here.
Another year
Is coming to an end.

Summer's finished,
Summer's gone,
Winter's round the bend.

Fall is piles of crunchy leaves,
Orange, gold, and red.
Fall is sweaters with long sleaves
And blankets on the bed.

Fall is football,
Fall is pumpkins,
Fall's where Summer ends,
And Fall is coming back to school,
And seeing all my friends.

Busy Squirrel

The busy squirrel scampers around.
Gathering nuts that fall to the ground.
Hiding them in secret places.
Covering them over, away she races.
The busy squirrel seems to know.
Winter's winds soon will blow.
I'm a Little Squirrel
[tune: "I'm a Little Teapot"]

I'm a little squirrel, fuzzy and gray.
When fall comes, I gather nuts all day.
So that when the winter comes, you see,
I'll have food for family and me.
